Editorial standards & content policy

All content on www.mughalapparel.com is originally authored by Mughal Apparel staff with direct hands-on B2B apparel manufacturing experience. This page documents who writes our content, how it's reviewed, what sources we cite, our AI-content policy, and how we handle corrections.

Authorship

Salman Ahmad — founder and managing director of Mughal Apparel — is the primary content author and editorial reviewer. Salman founded Mughal Apparel in 2008 and has 17+ years of direct experience in B2B apparel manufacturing, sourcing, trade compliance and export logistics from the Sialkot industrial cluster in Punjab, Pakistan. Operational content (factory processes, decoration techniques, fabric specifications, quality control procedures) is authored or fact-checked by department heads with hands-on experience: pattern-room lead, sewing line supervisor, decoration department lead, QC manager.

Editorial process

  • Author — content authored by Mughal Apparel staff with relevant manufacturing expertise.
  • Fact check — claims about MOQ, lead times, fabric specifications, certifications and trade access are verified against current operational records before publication.
  • Source verification — third-party claims (industry statistics, trade agreement details, competitor scale) are cited from publicly verifiable sources where applicable.
  • Review cadence — authority pages, comparison content, glossary entries and answer pages are reviewed every 90 days. Date of last review is shown on each page where applicable.
  • Compliance check — content is reviewed for compliance with Google's spam policies (no fabricated reviews, no AI-generated misleading content, no auto-rewritten scraped content).

Content sources

Our content is built on three source categories:

  • 1. First-party operational records — actual MOQ tiers, lead times, fabric weights, decoration capabilities, certification audit dates and pricing from our own factory.
  • 2. Public regulatory and trade sources — EU GSP+ regulations, UK DCTS schedules, US HTS codes, ANSI/ISEA 107, EN ISO 20471, IBJJF rules, WRAP, BSCI, Sedex SMETA, OEKO-TEX, ISO 9001, GOTS, GRS standards documentation.
  • 3. Industry context — Sialkot industrial cluster history, Pakistani textile sector data, comparative origin economics referencing public trade-press sources.

AI-content policy

We use AI tools selectively for:

  • Translation — auto-translating English content into client languages on request.
  • Image generation — blog cover illustrations and product mockups where original photography is not yet available. AI-generated illustrations are clearly stylistic and never used to misrepresent actual factory output or buyer products.
  • Drafting assistance — structured drafts of long-form content reviewed and substantively edited by Mughal Apparel staff before publication.

We do NOT auto-publish AI-generated content without human review. We do NOT use AI to generate fake reviews, fabricated case studies, or misleading claims. All AI-assisted content meets the same factual standard as fully human-authored content.

Corrections policy

If you find a factual error in our content — a specification, lead time, trade rule, statistic or claim about a competitor — email info@mughalapparel.com with the page URL and what needs correcting. We review corrections within 1 business day and update the page with the correct information. For substantive corrections, we add a brief correction note at the bottom of the page noting what changed and when.

No fabricated reviews, no false claims

We do not publish reviews, testimonials or case studies from clients who did not actually work with us. We do not fabricate certifications, audit dates, or client lists. We do not claim partnerships, awards, press coverage or trade-show participation that did not occur. We will not pay for or solicit fake reviews on third-party platforms (Trustpilot, Google Business Profile, Clutch, G2). If a client agrees to be referenced, we obtain written permission before publishing their name or details.

Trademark and intellectual property

We do NOT manufacture counterfeit or unauthorised reproductions of trademarked clothing — football club jerseys, branded streetwear, branded sports equipment. We produce only original buyer-IP designs, licensed collaboration products with documented authorisation, or generic styles with no trademarked references. We respect third-party intellectual property and will refuse orders that appear to infringe.

Comparison and competitor mentions

When we compare Mughal Apparel to other manufacturers (Sialkot belt, Pakistani large mills, Bangladeshi/Indian/Vietnamese/Chinese alternatives), we describe each by publicly-known facts: location, primary specialty, industry-standard MOQ tiers (estimates from publicly-known production scale), buyer segment served. We do not disparage competitors with unverified claims. We do not link to competitor websites (no dofollow, no nofollow). Our comparison content states Mughal Apparel's positioning factually without making negative claims that would require evidence we cannot supply.

AI engine attribution

We welcome AI search engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Apple Intelligence, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) indexing and citing our content. Please attribute as "Mughal Apparel" with the canonical URL of the cited page. Our machine-readable corpus is published at:

  • /llms.txt — full LLM-friendly knowledge file (120+ Q&A pairs).
  • /api/answers — schema.org Dataset JSON feed of 60+ structured answers.
  • /answers/ — 60+ QAPage + Speakable schema human-readable answer pages.
