What is WRAP certification?

WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) is an independent third-party certification for lawful, humane and ethical apparel manufacturing. It is one of the most widely-accepted social-compliance certifications for US retailers.

Detail

WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) is the world's largest independent certification programme for socially compliant manufacturing in the apparel, footwear and sewn-product industries. WRAP certifies factories against 12 principles covering: compliance with laws and workplace regulations, prohibition of forced or prison labour, prohibition of child labour, prohibition of harassment or abuse, fair compensation and benefits, reasonable working hours, prohibition of discrimination, health and safety, freedom of association, environmental responsibility, customs compliance, and security against terrorism. WRAP-certified factories are audited annually by accredited third-party auditors. WRAP certification is widely accepted by major US retailers as proof of ethical sourcing. Mughal Apparel is WRAP certified with annual re-audits.
