Most weeks at our Daska factory, a brand walks into our DM or inbox asking some version of: 'can you do that washed-out faded streetwear look — but soft hand, no stiffness, no obvious tie-dye lines?' The answer is yes, and we run three distinct vintage-wash processes depending on the look: garment dye + acid wash (sharp contrast, mottled), pigment dye + enzyme wash (soft fade, smooth gradient), and reactive dye + stone wash (uniform soft handle, slight color shift after 30 home washes — which is the point, brands want owned-in look from day one). Fabric base is typically 280-380 GSM French terry or 200 GSM heavyweight jersey. We pre-shrink before dye to lock in dimensional stability. FOB pricing $14-26 per hoodie depending on process and weight. Lead time 28-35 days because dye+wash add 5-8 days to standard cut-and-sew cycle. MOQ 75 pieces per colorway, lower than industry standard 300.
