Sublimation has become the dominant decoration technique for sportswear because it solves problems that screen print and embroidery can't: full-bleed photographic designs, unlimited color complexity, durable wash-fastness (rated 4-5 on AATCC scale), no print weight or hand-feel on the fabric surface. Our sublimation sportswear production uses Italian Monti dye-sub paper and Korean dye-sub paper for color accuracy. Atexco roll-to-roll printers for bulk production runs, Mimaki TS500P for sample iterations and small runs. Calandar heat-press transfer at production stage. Fabric requirements: 100% polyester or polyester-dominant blends (80%+ polyester). Sublimation dye only embeds into polyester fibers — cotton or natural fiber blends won't take sublimation dye. Standard sublimation fabric weights: 110, 140, 160, 200, 220, 250, 280 GSM depending on garment type.
