Onboarding: signed Code of Conduct and Modern Slavery declaration. 3. Annual: re-verification of certifications; spot audits on selected suppliers. 4. Continuous: open grievance channel (email + hotline) for workers and external parties. 5. Reporting: annual review of supply chain risk; this Statement updated yearly. For our own factory, an annual independent BSCI audit is conducted, with corrective action plans tracked to closure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Mughal Apparel comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015?

Yes. We publish this annual Modern Slavery Statement and have implemented BSCI-aligned due diligence processes covering our own factory and our sub-suppliers (fabric mills, accessory suppliers, packaging vendors).

How do you verify there is no forced or child labor in your supply chain?

Our factory is BSCI audited, with on-site inspections, worker interviews, age verification, and contract review. Sub-suppliers must sign our Code of Conduct and provide their own ethical-sourcing certificates (BSCI, SMETA, or equivalent).

What happens if you find non-compliance?

We follow a corrective action plan: immediate remediation for individual workers (back wages, repatriation if applicable), supplier improvement plan with timeline, escalation to termination if not resolved within agreed period.

Can I see your latest BSCI audit report?

Yes. Active clients receive the most recent audit summary upon request. The full report is shared under NDA. Contact [email protected].
