How are custom patches made from start to finish?

Custom patches are made in five steps: artwork digitising, sampling, bulk production (embroidery, weaving, sublimation or PVC moulding), cutting and bordering, then backing application and QC before shipping.

Detail

The custom patch process at Mughal Apparel: (1) your artwork is digitised into a stitch or print file; (2) a pre-production sample is made for approval in 10-12 business days; (3) approved designs run on multi-head embroidery machines, weaving looms, sublimation printers or PVC moulds over 12-20 days; (4) patches are cut and finished with a merrowed, heat-cut or die-cut edge; (5) the chosen backing is applied and every batch passes AQL 2.5 inspection before DDP shipping to the USA, UK and EU.
